Agweres Coworking Space – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Agweres! By using our coworking space, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all members and guests.

1. Hours of Access

  • Standard Access: Members on 1, 2, or 3-day-a-week plans, as well as ad-hoc or block-booking users, may use the space Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

  • Extended Access: Use of the space outside these hours is available by prior arrangement.

  • Permanent Desk Holders: Enjoy 24/7 access to the space. Please note that events and teaching sessions may occasionally take place during evenings or weekends, and workspaces should be kept tidy and presentable at all times.

2. Security and Key Holder Responsibility

  • Permanent desk holders and members with access to the key box are considered responsible key holders.

  • If you are the last person to leave, you must:

    • Ensure all windows are securely closed.

    • Lock both the internal and external doors, including the top bolt on the internal door.

    • Return the key to the secure key box (if applicable).

  • Do not share keys or access codes with non-members.

  • Lost keys or security concerns must be reported to Debbie immediately.

3. Insurance and Liability

  • Agweres is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

  • All users, especially permanent desk holders, are strongly encouraged to arrange their own insurance for personal equipment and valuables.

  • Use of the space is at your own risk.

4. Respect for the Space and Community

  • Treat the space and your fellow coworkers with respect and courtesy.

  • Please clean up after yourself, particularly in shared areas like the kitchen and bathrooms.

  • When bins are full, kindly take out the rubbish and recycling. Clear signage will indicate the correct procedure.

  • Any issues or maintenance needs should be reported to Debbie as soon as possible.

  • No smoking or vaping indoors. Designated areas may be used outside.

5. Calls, Meetings, and Shared Space Etiquette

  • Agweres is a shared working environment. Members are welcome to take calls or hold informal meetings, but must be mindful of others:

    • Keep your voice at a respectful volume.

    • Use headphones for video calls or extended meetings.

    • For long or sensitive conversations, please step into a quieter area or outdoors if possible.

    • Avoid playing audio or taking calls on speakerphone in shared areas.

6. Events and Teaching Use

  • Agweres regularly hosts events, including some during evenings and weekends, which may temporarily limit access to certain areas.

  • The space is also home to Wild Wine School, and on occasion the main space will be used for teaching during weekday working hours.

  • Members will receive advance notice of these dates.

  • During teaching sessions:

    • Calls should be kept to a minimum.

    • During exam sessions, the space must be kept completely silent.

  • Alternative desks can be booked in advance for non-permanent desk holders during teaching days (subject to availability).

  • Permanent desk holders are asked to ensure their area is tidy and neutral to accommodate shared use during events or classes.

7. Guests

  • Guests are welcome with prior agreement. Members are responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guests.

  • Guest visits should not interfere with the work of other users or disrupt events or teaching.

8. WiFi and Equipment Use

  • WiFi is provided for professional and lawful use only.

  • Please avoid streaming large files or using bandwidth-heavy applications that may affect others.

  • Shared office equipment and furnishings must not be removed or tampered with.

9. Notice Period

  • Members on monthly coworking plans (including permanent desks and regular day plans) are required to give one full calendar month’s written notice if they wish to cancel or end their membership.

  • Notice takes effect from the 1st day of the following month, regardless of when it is given.

  • Example: If notice is given on 12th June, the notice period will run from 1st July to 31st July, and the membership will end on 1st August.

  • Notice must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and will be acknowledged by Agweres in writing.

  • Members are responsible for payment of fees during the notice period.

10. Termination or Suspension of Access

Agweres reserves the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend membership or access if these Terms are breached.

  • Refuse entry to any individual whose conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe.

11. Updates to Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. All members will be given reasonable notice of any significant changes.
