Join Seth Hughes as he shares his Wildbiome journey — the challenges, breakthroughs, and the discovery of pemmican, a traditional, nutrient-dense food.
Seth will explore the realities of wild foraging — from sourcing nutrients in the landscape to adapting to what nature provides — and share how pemmican played a key role in sustaining him through the journey.
Made from deer tallow, dried meat, honey, nuts, and berries, pemmican is a shelf-stable food used for generations. After the Q&A and live demo, you’ll get hands-on in a workshop to craft your own batch to take home (there will be a veggie option of pickled samphire).
